The family reunification is the right of a foreigner, legally residing in Italy, to be reunited with direct relatives, such as:
• THE SPOUSE as long as they are not legally separated and as long as the spouse if of legal age (18 years old);
• UNDERAGE CHILDREN, including the spouse's children or those born from a previous relationship, unmarried, only if the other parent, if any, previously gave their consent;
• CHILDREN OF AGE or DEPENDENT CHILDREN, if unable to provide for their essential needs because of their health status rendering them completely disabled;
• DEPENDENT PARENTS if they do not have other children in the country of origin or provenance, or parents over the age of 65, if the other children are unable to support them for serious health reasons.
